This is definately a scam. The free code seems to be the same for everyone. No one has mentioned any winning of actual money. McDonalds has to, by law allow people to play without purchasing anything so that is why they offer the same code to every one. The website is hard to get onto. You have to wait on the game to be finished loading, after the little “pre show” a red box pops up at the bottom and you enter your info. The first time you do it you will have to enter all your info and type a security code that you see in the box just like you do on a lot of secure websites. Then every other time you go back to the site you just type you code into the red box at the bottom when it asks you for it (after the little preshow” and then it will ask for your email and birthday, then click submit. The problem is that the website has been allocated insufficient bandwidth for the usage. I’ve run into messages several times where the site was near crashing or did crash. for a company that rakes in as much cash as Micky D’s I think they can do better. Most of the problems I’ve seen referenced above regarding using the website and not being able to see this or that are specifically because the site is used so heavily it is constantly teatering on the brink of collapse.

It explains that only certain game pieces are limited. Obviously the game is fixed…if they let everyone win big they would be out of business. It is for entertainemnt only for most people because your changes of winning big are the same as winning the lottery (or greater).

I do agree with everyone about the website. I have been trying for a couple of days and I can’t even get the website up to do anything at all…then again it might not be McD’s fault because apparently some of you scammers are trying to enter 1000’s of free codes a day under different email addresses which is tying up the websites bandwith!!!

I called McDonalds customer service to inquire about the game website http://www.playatmcd.com and was informed that the site was working fine on their end. However I was told that McDonalds is currently in a lawsuit with 3 internet service providers. I called my ISP to verify that story and sure enough my ISP is one of them. To summarize if you have one of the ISP that is currently in a lawsuit with McDonalds you can’t get to the website at all because they blocked the website. Talk about a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. The $50/month we pay out to get internet and they block a website we want to get to. In short it is the internet providers we need to be angy with instead of McDonalds. -Anyone ready to get started on the class action suit against the ISP’s?
